Here's a quick photo where I've started assembling the torso from the various joint parts. The completed model should have shoulder joints that will simulate ball-socket motion. As the parts came together I noted that at this point I should start working on painting the pilot figure otherwise he'll never be done once he gets mounted into the cockpit in the chest cavity.(That is, the finished model, like all MG type kits, will also have an opening cockpit. However, since only the front of the seated pilot will be visible, I only need to paint the front of his uniform!)
