Well, first impression is that it seems to be a good action packed, special effects movie. How well it sits in the ST realm remains to be seen...
Despite its reputation as "a cerebral sci-fi" some of the best Trek adventures have featured exciting thrills. Maybe turning up the action is the right thing to do?
